Once again fraud is holdling up processing legitimate claims. How can a fisherman claim less than 6 months of work = $10,000,000? He probably would never even see $1,000,000 in profits in his entire lifetime. The same for this woman doing weddings.

Education MUST meet the needs of the 2010 society. It is education's job to prepare our kids to successfully function and make future contributions to society.

Kindergarten should meet the needs of the children at that age. Different maturity levels exist throught elementary school. Deal with it.

The State of Alaska offers health insurance for those that are 'uninsurable'. I have a friend with Chron's disease. His premiums are $600 a month with a $15,000 yearly deductible. So he essentially has catastropic coverage.

This is the same mentality that allows face book or Utube to publish illegal acts. We had two kids in Anchorage, Alaska battering a native homeless man. They filmed themselves and posted it on Utube. Now they are doing jail time.

Part of the problem is the "medical criteria" for people keeps changing. I remember 20 years ago a colestrol rating of 200 was considered within normal limits. Now they want you under a 100. How do you get there? Statins. A blood sugar level of 133 was normal and now it needs to be under 100.

Hi agree that Sarah was elected because people did not want to vote in Frank Murkowski. So most of the votes were against Frank not for Sarah.

I'm from Alaska and the biggest factor is that Miller is a vet. Military and support for military is big up here. Also Lisa was initially appointed by her dad to fill his vacant senate seat.

So here we go again with another company outsourcing the work. What is transocean's role in this. It was their rig. Their crew. Their operations. Their safety record. Yes BP hired them and when they found things wrong expected transocean to deal with it.
